Electronic Dictionary ABBYY Lingvo 12 most complete and modern to date electronic dictionary. First published version of ABBYY Lingvo, with which you can for a few seconds to get an accurate translation of any English or Russian words! The structure of ABBYY Lingvo is more than 6.5 million detailed entries, 12 million transfer. General, sensible, thematic dictionaries Lingvo 12 (of 120) will help to find an adequate translation of any special terms. Glossary prepared lexicographic group of the Applied Linguistics Department of ABBYY. First released in 1990, Lingvo (En-Ru) was the first in Russia lexicographic publishing entirely new type, designed for electronic searching and displaying and combining the functions of a transferable and Thesaurus. Most of the lexical meanings provided with interpretations, comments on the use, usage examples, and many synonyms are included in the series and antonymic couples. Lingvo Dictionary can be used for translation from English into Russian, and for writing texts in English. A large number of examples that accompany entries, focused not only on the illustration of lexical meanings, but also a powerful source of information when working with a system of full-text search Lingvo.
Dictionary constantly updated with new words and meanings, including spoken and a reduced vocabulary, without which the picture of modern English would have been inadequate. In preparation for publication was analyzed a large number of lexicographical sources and relevant English texts. You can create and connect to the ABBYY Lingvo 12 dictionaries, as well as the possibility of transforming the dictionary format. Dsl. Lud. Adc. Xml in the dictionary, which can be connected to ABBYY Lingvo 12.
The set includes a version of the dictionary for handhelds and smartphones.
